12/9/24- Jail Committee Approve the Jail/Courthouse Security System Upgrade Construction Contract with low bidder ECC in the amount of $1,432,869.89, inclusive of a $65,000.00 Contingency Allowance.

Approve Credit Change Order # 1 to reduce the approved Jail/Courthouse Security System Upgrade Construction Contract with EDD by $57,301.49 achieved by utilizing some less costly network switches and PC with these savings to be used to provide for a transport vehicle and other small equipment needs in the Sheriff’s Office.

Approve the five (5) year Extended Warranty Proposal from ECC at a cost of $21,850.00 per year with such extended warranty coverage to begin the first day of the month following the conclusion of the one (1) year construction period warranty that begins upon the Jail/Courthouse Security System Upgrade Project achieving Substantial Completion.

Approve Draft Budget Amendment 12-16-AC allocating $100,000 of ARPA Funds for Contributions to the Senior Citizens Centers ($35,000 to Jellico Senior Citizens Center and $65,000 to LaFollette Senior Citizens Center) and allocating $57,301.49 for a transport vehicle and other small equipment needs in the Sheriff’s Office and any other matters
