Lonas Young Memorial Park

A Park Built for Community Enjoyment

Lonas Young is our county park that serves our residents and visitors as a place for you to unwind and enjoy our community. The park includes many amenities available for our guests:  A paved walking trail, two tennis/pickle ball courts, a basketball court, soccer field, a little league baseball field, and plenty of spots for fantastic fishing for our sports enthusiasts.  A swimming beach area to cool off on warm summer days in Norris Lake with plenty of room for sun on the sand.  We offer a large lakeside pavilion, as well as two more covered areas – all of which may be booked for private parties.  We have a playground for the kids, a concession stand, public restrooms, and more.  We are proud to offer all of this for you, your families and your friends to enjoy right here in Campbell County! 

There are also various community events that take place at the park, such as our Summer Movie Series where we have a large projector and offer free movies throughout the summer.  Check our social media sights throughout the year and keep up with our activities!
